A New Anime from the Creator of Fullmetal Alchemist
As per Manga Up, Daemons of the Shadow Realm tells the tale of two twins, separated in their early years, who are unaware of their destiny to govern and protect a realm filled with supernatural beings known as Daemons. Here’s a summary:
“In a world where select humans can command formidable supernatural beings called Daemons, it is the birthright of ‘the children who sunder day and night’—twins Yuru and Asa—to preside over these powerful entities.
Separated during their childhood and oblivious to their true heritage, the siblings must journey to reunite, reclaim their legacy, and safeguard the world…”
A press release from Crunchyroll has also disclosed that Studio Bones, the studio behind both adaptations of Fullmetal Alchemist, is back to animate Daemons of the Shadow Realm. The series will be directed by Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger).

Additionally, Studio Bones is currently working on the anime adaptation of Gachiakuta, which is set to premiere on streaming services today.
