Digital Phablet – NBA icon Michael Jordan sparked widespread social media attention after a video surfaced showing him acting strangely with a young NASCAR fan, tugging at his shirt in an unusual manner.
Many viewers on social media interpreted the clip as Jordan playfully grabbing the child’s shirt, while others felt his behavior was odd or inappropriate, leading to mixed opinions about his actions and intentions.
One social media user on X (formerly Twitter) defended Jordan, saying, “That’s his driver’s kid, and he was just pulling his shirt. Just a playful gesture. Everyone’s so focused on Epstein and other scandals, trying to blow things out of proportion.”

The same user posted a slow-motion clip that clearly shows Jordan tugging on the child’s shirt. Another comment read, “However you wanna spin it, that’s not really what was happening, dawg.”
One more person questioned, “Regardless of whether the video is real or fake, is that really the best way to interact with a kid in public—especially with cameras everywhere and so many eyes watching?”
Reports indicate that Jordan has once again made headlines, this time in the NASCAR community, after his racing team secured its first Daytona 500 victory at Daytona International Speedway in Florida. The driver for Jordan’s 23XI team was American motorsport star Tyler Reddick, driving a Toyota.
NASCAR racers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (in a Chevrolet) and Joey Logano (in a Ford) finished second and third, respectively.
