Originally scheduled for release during Ramadan, the series was postponed due to a busy production schedule, with the aim of delivering a high-quality product that meets audience expectations. The project is believed to be a significant return for Nadine Nassib Njeim to Ramadan dramas after her break from the 2025 season, following her success in 2024. It also holds special importance as her first collaboration with Dhafer L’Abidine on a highly anticipated work.
According to producer Sadek Al-Sabah, the release date has not yet been finalized, with an anticipated launch possibly in September, though a June release remains plausible. He emphasized that the number of episodes will be flexible, ranging from 22 to 23, to allow for a rich narrative development. “Momken” is expected to become one of the standout Arab productions of 2026, thanks to its bold script by Mona El-Shimy, direction by Amin Dorra, and the promising chemistry among its cast, which could cast a long-lasting influence on the drama scene.
Nadine Nassib Njeim stars alongside Zeina Makki, Anjo Rihane, Alan Saadeh, Dali Jou, Rodrigue Sleiman, Marwa Khalil, Roula Hamadeh, George Chalhoub, and Malak Kanaan. The story centers on a woman’s encounter with a powerful, sophisticated man. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated, blending emotional and psychological layers with societal expectations and echoes of the past, set against a backdrop of escalating drama and unforeseen twists.
Nadine has expressed her excitement for the project, highlighting that her character is unlike anything she has portrayed before, with deep human and psychological dimensions. She shared, “I won’t spoil the story, but I can say the character will surprise viewers from the very first episode… This experience is packed with emotion and challenges.”
