Notably, a video surfaced of the bride herself addressing the issue of uninvited guests attending the wedding, drawing significant attention.
In the widely circulated video, Youmna Khoury speaks calmly, explaining, “I didn’t want to embarrass anyone, so I greeted everyone warmly and graciously. My goal was to keep the joyful and festive atmosphere alive until the very end.” Many viewers saw her actions as an inspiring display of kindness and elegance in awkward situations.
Many appreciated her approach, considering it a model of graciousness in the face of potential discomfort.
She shared her perspective through her Snapchat stories, which included photos and videos from the lavish Italian estate chosen for her wedding. A video from the celebration showed her dancing and engaging with the wedding festivities spontaneously.
To clarify her presence, she stated, “I want to clarify that I did not attend the wedding itself. I was actually at a neighboring villa celebrating a friend’s birthday.” She explained that her brief visit was out of love and concern, stopping by only to wish the couple well during the last half hour of the wedding reception.
She also expressed her admiration for the bride and her family, describing them as some of the most genuine and kind-hearted people she knows. “I love and truly appreciate them,” she said. She emphasized that many guests attended to share in the happiness, which she viewed as a beautiful gesture, not something to be judged negatively.
Further, she remarked, “It’s perfectly acceptable if someone simply comes by to say congratulations — even briefly. It’s about showing love and support in any way we can.”
In a separate post, Mariam Hussein, another prominent artist, appeared with the bride in a video where the bride was visibly surprised to see her. Mariam handled the moment tactfully, telling her, “My dear, you deserve all the best; I love you.” The bride responded warmly, saying, “And I love you even more. Hopefully, I will attend your daughter’s wedding soon, God willing.”
Mariam also shared her reasons for being nearby during the celebration, stating, “I was at a neighboring villa celebrating a friend’s birthday for just half an hour after the wedding, out of love and respect. The bride and her family are wonderful people, and I hold them in high regard.” She reiterated that many guests attended to share happiness and that it was all perfectly normal.
Her message underscored the importance of kindness and the joy of shared celebrations, emphasizing that supporting loved ones in their special moments is always worth it.
