ALBAWABA – The popularity of Donghua (Chinese animation) is on the rise among anime enthusiasts worldwide, particularly with new hits like To Be Hero X, Super Cube, and The All-devouring Whale. A highly anticipated series, Lord of the Mysteries, has just released its new trailer, generating buzz across social media platforms.
While it’s true that trailers can’t fully capture the essence of a show, the production quality for Lord of the Mysteries is impressive, showcasing remarkable character designs and an eye-catching steampunk environment. Adding to its appeal, the series is inspired by one of China’s most notable web novels in recent times.
Though it emerges from a saturated Isekai anime landscape, it stands out due to its original Victorian-inspired world that skillfully blends Lovecraftian elements with intriguing mysteries.

As he navigates this new world, he becomes involved with various churches and unlocks new powers, such as the “The Fool” tarot card, which grants him “limitless potential.”
Lord of the Mysteries is slated for release this July, produced by B.CMAY PICTURES, renowned for animating The King’s Avatar.
