Digital Phablet – Following the conclusion of the 90-episode series “Salma,” which was adapted from the Turkish drama “Kadin” [Woman], Shahid is set to debut a new series titled Layl in just two weeks.
The upcoming Arabic series, Layl, is also an adaptation of the Turkish drama “Safirin Kizi” [The Ambassador’s Daughter], which originally aired in 2019.
Shahid has released the first teaser as filming continues in Turkey for the Arabic version of the acclaimed Turkish series “Safirin Kizi.” There is significant excitement among Arab viewers who are eagerly anticipating this new release.

An official post on Shahid’s Instagram page highlighted its most notable productions scheduled for December, confirming that the Arabic adaptation of “The Ambassador’s Daughter” will debut this month.
The platform announced that the series will be titled “Layl” in Arabic, premiering on January 4th, 2026, at 8 p.m., on its streaming service and the MBC channel.

Shahid confirmed that the show will debut on January 4th with a caption: “A love that started by chance… and ended in a struggle between the heart and destiny. Will love conquer pride?”
About the ‘Layl’ Series:
The plot revolves around the romance between the daughter of an ambassador and a man from humble beginnings, torn apart by life’s circumstances, only to be reunited years later, reigniting their love.
