The series was put on a break ahead of the upcoming Ramadan season and is expected to resume after the holy month concludes.
Following the non-release of episode 34 on Wednesday, Feb. 11, our team contacted MBC Shahid for clarification. The platform confirmed that the series officially paused at episode 33, which aired on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Is the Layl series officially over?
MBC Shahid responded to inquiries about whether the series has been discontinued, saying, “Hello. We appreciate your keen interest and engagement with us, and we thank you for following ‘Layl.'”
They further explained, “The series is planned to have 90 episodes. The first part, which includes up to episode 33, has been aired. The second part, consisting of 57 episodes, will be broadcast after Ramadan.”

About the Layl series:
This series narrates the romantic tale of a daughter of an ambassador and a humble man who are separated by life’s circumstances, only to reunite years later, reigniting their love.
Originally sourced from a Turkish drama, the series is set to continue after Ramadan. The first episode was released on January 4th at 8 p.m. local Saudi time, with new episodes airing Sunday through Thursday at the same time.
