It appears that Kim Kardashian successfully outbid others for the Bible once owned by her late father, Robert Kardashian, which was given to O.J. Simpson. It’s heartening to see the Bible now back within the Kardashian family.

On this week’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the founder of Skims shared that she purchased the Bible her father gifted to O.J. after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman for $80,000—without revealing her identity. The Bible held sentimental value as her dad’s favorite book, featuring his name in gold lettering on the cover along with a note he had penned himself.

Initially, she attempted to acquire the Bible by offering $15,000 to O.J. Simpson’s estate, but her bid was rejected. She later discussed the experience on her family’s popular Hulu series, where she mentioned she was open to higher negotiations—something the estate was not willing to accept.

Attorney Malcolm LaVergne, who managed O.J. Simpson’s estate, responded humorously to her story, stating, “I find it amusing how she tries to frame it as if I’m trying to hide it from her. I understand why she struggles to pass the bar.”

To keep her plans covert, Kim bid $80,000 under an alias and ultimately handed the Bible over to her sister Khloé Kardashian, who was thrilled to receive it.

Now, Malcolm LaVergne has chimed in again, suggesting that Kim’s purchase was more of a “tax write-off.” He commented, “From the very first time she contacted me, I suspected this was all part of the bigger TV strategy. It benefits everyone—the estate receives the proceeds, and she gets content for her show.”
