Digital Phablet – Dana Eden, the Israeli producer behind the “Tehran” series, was found dead in her hotel room in Greece, according to local Hebrew media reports on Monday.
Both Iranian and Israeli outlets reported that Eden, 52 years old, unexpectedly passed away in Athens on Sunday while she was overseeing production on the fourth season of “Tehran.”
Her brother discovered her after she failed to respond to his messages, prompting him to start searching for her, as detailed by Hebrew media sources.
Authorities have ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death and are now reviewing security camera footage and collecting statements from hotel staff.
“Tehran” is regarded as one of the most notable Israeli dramas of recent years. This political and espionage-themed series narrates the story of an Israeli woman of Iranian ancestry who works as a Mossad agent with the mission to sabotage Iran’s nuclear ambitions from within Tehran.
