Recent investigations, confirmed by her son-in-law Ghassan Hariri and grandson Ahmed Hariri, revealed that the maid had left a letter prior to the act. This document indicated premeditation, suggesting that the murder was deliberate and committed alone, with no other individuals involved or instigating the crime.
The family insisted the accused did not have any mental health issues, stating she was treated as part of the family and had undergone all necessary psychological and medical assessments before the incident. They also revealed that she not only committed the murder but attempted to ignite the house afterward.
Ghassan Hariri mentioned that the maid’s trial would take place within Syria and emphasized that she would not be deported to Uganda, her home country. He expressed trust in the Syrian judicial system to ensure justice and uphold their rights.
