The statement from renowned actress Hande Erçel, who was released after being detained in connection with a celebrity drug investigation, has now emerged. Erçel firmly stated, “I have never used narcotics or stimulants in my life. I have never seen Hakan Sabancı do so either.” Her ex-boyfriend, Hakan Sabancı, also affirmed, “Hande has never used drugs in my presence.”

The personal statement from Hande Erçel, who was detained as part of an Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office investigation into drugs involving celebrities, has been made public.

As the investigation continues, suspects Koray Serenli, Mustafa Tari, Onur Talay, and Sezgin Köysüren have been detained and sentenced to prison. Meanwhile, nine other suspects—including Fikret Orman, Burak Elmas, Güzide Duran, and Didem Soydan—have been released under judicial supervision, with one individual released by the prosecutor’s office.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT REVEALED

As part of the ongoing inquiry, actress Hande Erçel traveled back from abroad to Turkey to provide her account. She submitted hair and blood samples to the Forensic Medicine Institution and was subsequently released. Her statement from the prosecutor’s office has since been made available to the public.

According to Ceylan Sever from Habertürk, Erçel clarified, “I only visited the restaurant area of Bebek Hotel a few times for job interviews from several locations mentioned in the case.” She added, “Due to my busy schedule, I do not engage in nightlife. I did not attend any private parties or gatherings hosted by certain businessmen, as alleged. I have never taken drugs or stimulants in my life. I am diligent about maintaining a healthy lifestyle because of my profession. I did not see Hakan Sabancı using narcotics. I deny all accusations against me,” she stated.

The relationship between Hande Erçel and Hakan Sabancı has become a topic of tabloid gossip. Sabancı, also involved in the investigation, insisted he had never seen Hande Erçel use drugs. He dismissed the accusations, saying, “I know a person named Hande Erçel.” He confirmed that the individual has never used drugs in his presence. Hakan Sabancı was released under judicial supervision after providing a drug test during the investigation.
