Digital Phablet – Sinem Ünsal and Ozan Akbaba Shine in Cappadocia Series Teaser
The “Go Turkey” initiative by Turkey’s Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) continues to showcase Turkey’s rich natural and cultural heritage through the screen. Following the success of An Istanbul Story, the miniseries starring Ozan Akbaba and Sinem Ünsal, filmed in Cappadocia for the campaign, is gearing up for its audience.
Participating in a miniseries is like donning the national team jersey.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy commented on the project, saying, “Tourism today is more than just choosing a destination; it involves immersing yourself in a story, experiencing emotions, and adopting a lifestyle.”
The Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency’s role here is vital. In our revamped promotional strategy, which emphasizes storytelling over traditional marketing, we’ve crafted compelling series such as Antalya Gambit, Istanbul My Love, Hidden Lover, and An Istanbul Story. Participating in a miniseries is akin to wearing the national team’s jersey. With this new production set in Cappadocia, we aim to promote Turkey’s attractions globally through a captivating narrative.
The project was produced by Kemal Hamamcıoğlu and directed by the acclaimed Hilal Saral, with Sinem Ünsal and Ozan Akbaba leading the cast.
Many are familiar with Sinem Ünsal for her impressive roles on Turkish television, most notably her breakout performance in Mucize Doktor, which gained her international fame. Since then, she has become renowned for portraying characters with intricate emotional depths, establishing herself as a rising star in the industry.
On the other hand, Ozan Akbaba is widely recognized for his enduring role in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, where his charismatic on-screen presence earned him a large fan following. Over the years, he has taken on diverse roles, further solidifying his status in the industry. His recent performances in Uzak Şehir and other acclaimed projects demonstrate his versatility and broad appeal.
Both actors have been garnering attention for their roles in the new series Uzak Şehir, which has been receiving excellent reviews. Their continued success underscores their popularity and audience interest, heightening anticipation for the Cappadocia miniseries.
