Digital Phablet – Fabio Jackson, a well-known internet personality famous for impersonating the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, recently shared a video on Instagram addressing rumors about his supposedly “salty” reaction to the teaser for the “Michael” biopic.
Many social media users suggested that Fabio appeared noticeably “salty” and jealous of Jaafar Jackson’s portrayal in the teaser. In response, Fabio posted a new video where he denied these rumors, adding that Jaafar’s voice resembles that of his uncle.
It’s important to note that 29-year-old Jaafar Jackson is Machel Jackson’s nephew. He debuted with his single “Got Me Singing” in 2019 and is set to make his film debut in the upcoming 2026 “Michael” biopic.
The rumors sparked after Fabio’s quiet response to the teaser, with many interpreting his expression as jealousy, especially because Jaafar was cast in the role instead of him.
### Fabio Jackson Responds to ‘Salty’ Reaction to Michael Jackson Biopic Amid Criticism
Many pointed out Fabio’s silent reaction, attributing it to jealousy over Jaafar securing the role.
A user commented under his post, “He acts like Michael Jackson left him in charge,” while another wrote, “You’re not Michael, so don’t come here with attitude.”
In his reply video, Fabio, who boasts over 12 million followers on TikTok, complimented Jaafar’s vocal talent and emphasized that it is still too early to pass judgment on the film since the teaser features only brief clips. He also shared that he, along with many others, knew about Jaafar’s casting to play his uncle two years ago.
He apologized, explaining that his reaction was genuine, unlike some content creators and streamers who exaggerate reactions to gain views. Fabio concluded his message by clarifying that his silent stance doesn’t signify anger or jealousy; rather, it’s his way of showing respect and appreciation.
