“Salma” will be broadcast on Shahid and MBC1 as they continue to promote the Arabic adaptation of the widely popular Turkish series “Kadin.”
Overview of the “Salma” Series:
The upcoming show is a dramatic remake of the Turkish series “Woman,” which narrates the story of a married woman leading a modest family life with her spouse and two children, until her world is abruptly shattered when her husband mysteriously disappears.
The woman is then compelled to confront a new reality, bearing the sole responsibility of raising her children. This pushes her to revisit her childhood neighborhood, where she reconnects with her mother and sister. Over time, intricate links emerge, connecting the family to her husband’s disappearance, driven by long-buried emotions from the past.
