Several celebrities, including Hannah Einbinder and Javier Bardem, recently expressed their support for Palestine at the 2025 Emmys, calling for a “Free Palestine” and urging leaders to implement an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
After winning her award for her role in HBO Max’s “Hacks,” Hannah Einbinder wrapped up her speech by advocating for Palestinian freedom, wearing a Gaza ceasefire pin, and criticizing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Spanish actor Javier Bardem, who has publicly voiced his pro-Palestine views on various platforms, attended the ceremony wearing a Palestinian Kuffiyeh. In an interview with Variety, he declared, “Today I am here denouncing the genocide in Gaza… Free Palestine!” Furthermore, he stated he would refuse to work with any entity that supports the violence in Gaza, emphasizing, “It’s as simple as that. Additionally, comedian and actress Megan Stalter was spotted on the red carpet holding a black purse with a large card reading “ceasefire!” She also proudly displayed a red pin on her jeans.
Many other celebrities have voiced their support for Gaza and Palestine in light of the ongoing Israeli military actions since October 7, 2023. Actor Mark Ruffalo, widely recognized for his role as the Hulk in Marvel’s The Avengers, has been actively posting on Instagram urging for a ceasefire and condemning Israel’s actions. He recently called on the White House to press the U.S. government to take immediate steps to halt the aggression.
Since October 7, 2023, the conflict has resulted in the deaths of at least 64,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 164,000, according to Gaza’s health ministry. Reports from Anadolu Agency indicate that 420 Palestinians, including 145 children, have succumbed to starvation and malnutrition amid the worsening famine conditions in the region.
