Local sources in Egypt report that Ramez Galal has just wrapped up filming for his upcoming prank series set to air during Ramadan 2026, featuring several renowned Arab artists.

During a recent TV interview, Galal revealed that his new show draws inspiration from the widely popular Korean drama “Squid Game,” stating, “Have you heard of a game called ‘Squid Game’? Well, this year I’m doing a ‘Squid Game’!”

Egyptian Star Sustains Injury During Ramadan Prank Show

According to Cairo 24, actor Ahmed El Saka sustained an injury during the filming of his segment on Ramez Galal’s Ramadan show, which is expected to attract significant viewership, particularly because this year’s pranks feature more action-oriented scenes.

It is also worth noting that Ramez Galal participated in the previous Ramadan season with the program “Ramez Elon Egypt.” The concept was based on intense prank experiments, where guests were tied to moving beds, while a smart robot posed provocative questions. Wrong answers resulted in electric shocks, along with dye being thrown onto their faces.
