ALBAWABA – After several years of dating, Demi Lovato tied the knot with Jordan "Jutes" Lutes in a private ceremony held on Sunday, May 25, in California.
The 32-year-old singer was spotted in a striking wedding gown designed by the renowned British designer Vivienne Westwood, as reported by Vogue. The dress featured a cathedral-length veil made from tulle and a corseted bodice, a collaborative creation that truly embodied Demi’s unique style.
Demi opted for Vivienne Westwood because of its iconic silhouettes and corsetry, which aligned perfectly with her personal aesthetic. For the evening reception, she changed into a second Westwood creation: an ivory silk satin column gown embellished with a broken pearl necklace.
Celebrity planner Mindy Weiss organized a pre-wedding dinner the night before the ceremony, which included a rehearsal and an intimate gathering exclusively for family and friends.
Demi and Jordan announced their engagement in December 2023 following a quiet proposal in Los Angeles, having publicly debuted their relationship in August 2022.
Their romance blossomed from a professional collaboration when they worked together on Demi’s album, Holy Fvck. Their chemistry and support for one another have been evident, with Demi describing their relationship as easygoing and filled with laughter. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in September 2023, she openly expressed her admiration for Jordan.
"Jordan has the most amazing personality," Demi shared. "We’re always laughing together. I believe finding someone who makes you feel secure, immensely attracted, and able to share joy with is the key to a successful relationship."
The couple chose to value each stage of their relationship, nurturing their emotional bond during their engagement rather than rushing into wedding preparations. They share a deep connection built on humor and respect, with Demi referring to Jordan as her "center of balance." She views their marriage as a fresh start and a promising new chapter in her life.
