The actress known for Madame Web is the face of Calvin Klein’s spring 2026 advertising campaign. She models the brand’s newest line of pants and underwear while posing without a top.
In a campaign shot by Gordon von Steiner, Dakota, 36, is seen wearing a black bra and reading a script on her couch, relaxing at home. The ad then transitions to her playing pool alone in just the brand’s underwear and dark footwear. As she lines up her shot, she subtly reveals a side breast.
She begins by lounging by the pool with a book on her lap, then transitions to dancing on a bed in loose blue jeans with her long brown hair cascading over her chest. The commercial then shifts to her in a kitchen scene, where she drapes pomegranates over her arms, followed by a shot with a coffee cup and a stainless steel pitcher.
The actress shares her thoughts: “Calvin Klein underwear and jeans have that timeless appeal that makes you feel right as soon as you put them on.” She adds, “Being alone at home to work, read, or do just about anything can feel incredibly liberating and sensual for a woman.” Combining this vibe with Calvin Klein’s aesthetic felt both fresh and classic.
Dakota Johnson is no stranger to nudity on camera, having starred in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. She has previously spoken about the importance of nudity in creating authentic scenes.
“I suppose I have a more European outlook on these things,” she told Vogue in 2017. “I prefer not to see someone in a sex scene wearing a bra and underwear. Let’s be honest: people are naked when they—well, you know.”
However, she also admits she might not always feel comfortable baring everything.
“Will I stop doing nude scenes when my breasts start to sag?” she questioned. “Who knows?”
Many celebrities share Johnson’s perspective that sometimes, less is more.
“Calvin Klein underwear and jeans embody a classic look that instantly makes everything feel right,” she explained in her statement on March 9. “Spending time alone at home to work, read, or simply unwind often feels very freeing and sensual for women.” She notes that blending this energy with Calvin Klein’s images offered a blend of tradition and modernity.
