Los Angeles: Actress Dakota Johnson and Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin were spotted hand in hand and sharing smiles during their visit to Mumbai, India.
The couple was seen enjoying their time in the city on Friday. Martin is in Mumbai as part of Coldplay’s sold-out Music of the Spheres World Tour, according to reports from people.com.
In the photos captured, Martin opted for a laid-back look, sporting a long-sleeved gray shirt, black trousers, and white sneakers, complemented by a black graphic baseball cap.
Meanwhile, Johnson, 35, opted for a similar headgear, a snug black tank midi dress, with a gray sweater casually tied around her waist, and black sneakers. At one moment, she waved to fans and photographers.
The relationship between Martin and Johnson began in the fall of 2017, with their first public appearance together occurring at Stella McCartney’s Autumn 2018 Collection event in January 2018.
According to a source who spoke to people.com in March 2024, the couple had actually been engaged for “years,” with initial rumors surfacing in 2020, but they had no immediate plans for marriage.
When speculation about a possible breakup arose over the summer, Johnson’s representative clarified that the couple was “happily together.”
“They have had their ups and downs and taken breaks, but currently, things are going well,” a source revealed.
