She described “Sahab El Ard” as a vital piece that reintroduces unforgettable moments, resonating deeply with new generations. She emphasized that beyond its artistic value, the series carries a militant undertone, especially with the involvement of multiple Palestinian artists in its cast, which enhanced its credibility and emotional impact on viewers.
She further praised “Ras El Af’a” for its realistic depiction of security personnel’s roles and the significant efforts they undertake amid ongoing challenges. Morris highlighted how the series underscores that the battles faced by the state are ongoing, showcasing military strategies and community resilience as core facets of the narrative.
Critic Essam Zakaria pointed out that “Sahab El Ard,” “Ain Sahriya,” “Sawa Sawa,” and “Kan Yama Kan” were among the most distinguished shows of this season. He observed that overall, the season did not witness dramatic evolution in the style or quality of programming but attributed the success of “Sahab El Ard” to the strength and relevance of its core themes. The series’ cohesive artistic and directorial execution notably contributed to its profound influence on viewers.
In the same vein, critic Maha Metwally highlighted that series such as “The Snake’s Head,” “Magic Eye,” “Two Others,” and “Kimia” were among the most prominent during Ramadan 2026. She pointed out that “The Snake’s Head” was particularly notable for clearly conveying its events through sound and visuals, which stirred unrest among the Muslim Brotherhood. She lauded Sherif Mounir’s exceptional portrayal of Mahmoud Ezzat.
Metwally also praised Hisham Helal’s distinguished screenplay for “Magic Eye,” and commended Essam Omar for his authentic and compelling performance, alongside the artistic infusion brought by Bassem Samra and the exemplary acting of Ahmed Bella.
