Mumbai: Actress Avneet Kaur was showered with warm words from Hollywood star Tom Cruise during her attendance at the premiere of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” in London.
In a video shared by Avneet on her Instagram, she greeted the iconic actor, asking, “How are you?”
Cruise responded with enthusiasm, saying, “Great! Very nice to see you.” He admired her appearance, stating, “So elegant, so elegant.”
Avneet took the opportunity to congratulate Cruise on the premiere, saying, “Congratulations on the amazing premiere, well deserved.”
Cruise graciously replied, “Thank you… thank you.”
In a previous encounter, Cruise mentioned how he would consider casting Avneet in a Bollywood-style project if he were to create one.
Avneet shared a clip of Cruise expressing his admiration for India and Bollywood, where he remarked, “I love Bollywood films. The skill it takes to do what you all do is impressive. I appreciate how a drama or comedy can suddenly break out into song. I truly love that.”
He went on to say, “It’s part of my upbringing. I enjoy musicals and dramas. Your culture inspires me, and I wish to be involved in that kind of filmmaking. It’s on my list.”
To this, Avneet eagerly responded, “And I would love to be a part of it.”
Cruise nodded in agreement, “Yeah, good. Yeah, that would be awesome. That would be amazing.”
Additonally, Avneet posted a heartfelt moment of them exchanging a respectful Namaste.
She captioned it, “Namaste from Mr. Cruise and me to all of India. Great to see you again @tomcruise @missionimpossible.”
