Digital Phablet – Two beloved Turkish dramas, Sen Çal Kapımı and Bir İstanbul Masalı, are set to be remade in Arabic with a new cast.
The Turkish TV series Sen Çal Kapımı (You Knock on My Door) and Bir İstanbul Masalı (An Istanbul Tale) are both being reimagined for Arabic audiences, a significant development in cross-cultural television. The production companies Medyapım and NTC Medya are collaborating on these much-anticipated projects, which will air on the major Arab network MBC.
Ender Emir has been appointed as the director for both adaptations. Filming for Sen Çal Kapımı is set to commence in Istanbul on August 15, with a premiere date slated for December 20, 2025. Production for Bir İstanbul Masalı will follow shortly after.
