A recent video by Lebanese influencer Angie Khoury has ignited widespread discussion across Arab social media platforms.
Lebanese influencer Angie Khoury stirred significant controversy when she posted a video on her official Instagram account, showcasing large stacks of cash. She claimed that the money was part of her monthly income from the website “Fanspicy.”
In the video, Khoury laughs and waves the money around, saying, “This is all from Fanspicy… and you haven’t seen anything yet,” clearly demonstrating the amount of money she has earned from the platform.
People can subscribe to the “Fanspicy” website on a monthly basis, and for a fee, content creators can provide subscribers with access to exclusive content. Similar to global platforms like OnlyFans, it caters to an Arab audience and includes local, private payment options. This makes it especially attractive to influencers who produce bold or unconventional content.
Khoury has long been a subject of conversation regarding the boundaries of personal freedom online due to the content she shares. While some critics disparage her work, she also commands a large following and is considered one of the most-followed figures on several platforms.
In previous interviews, she stated, “People like to talk, but ultimately, everyone has the right to decide what they do with their bodies and their content.” She believes there’s no issue with monetizing her fame.
Her recent video sparked a renewed debate about paid platforms and what types of content are acceptable. Public opinion remains divided—some view her work as artistic, while others see it as simply provocative or informative.
This phenomenon of earning income through controversy and open sharing of personal boundaries appears to be a growing trend in the Arab digital sphere, despite ongoing social and moral debates about such practices.
