The mother of actor Ahmed Helmy passed away early this morning, Friday, after battling an illness that lasted several months.

The funeral service will be held after Friday prayers at Nasser Mosque in Banha, Qalyubia Governorate, with her burial taking place at Al-Shamout Cemetery.

Ahmed Helmy had spoken openly about his mother multiple times before her passing, sharing heartfelt messages on his official social media platforms to express his deep love and gratitude for her.

In one such message, he wrote: “Happy birthday, Mom. If I could turn back time, I would do so just to relive your nurturing and care all over again.”
