A new guide from Digital Phablet explains a recent update to Google Ads called the Results tab within Recommendations. This feature allows advertisers to see how their performance is affected after implementing recommendations.
Hana Kobzová noticed and shared this update via PPC News Feed, mentioning that Google has introduced an official help page detailing the Results tab. This feature provides a way to measure the real impact of applied suggestions, such as bid adjustments or budget changes.
Here’s how it functions:
Google Ads evaluates the performance of a campaign about a week after a user applies a recommendation—like increasing the budget or modifying targets. It then compares the actual results to a projected scenario where the recommendation wasn’t implemented.
The report displays the difference, emphasizing the extra value gained. For example, it might show a message indicating, “You gained 10 more conversions than would have been possible without the increased budget recommendation.”
To access these results:
- The impact of recent recommendations appears in a summary box on the main “Recommendations” page within your account.
- For more detailed insights, users can visit the new Results tab, where performance effects are organized by recommendation type—such as Budget or Targets. Filters are available to focus solely on Budget adjustments or Target modifications.
The complete guide is available at the official support page on Digital Phablet.
