Google is currently experimenting with adding “Learn More” links at the end of search ads. The updated ad format includes the standard description, followed by a blue, underlined “Learn More” link accompanied by a right-pointing arrow. When clicked, this link directs users straight to the specific landing page rather than the ad’s usual destination.
This modification was observed by Anthony Higman, who shared a screenshot on a social media platform, humorously commenting on the new feature. The visual clearly shows the “Learn More” link appended to the ad text.
This approach differs from the “Read More” links introduced in organic search results last week, as well as from earlier tests conducted in July. The goal appears to be increasing engagement and click-through rates on paid search advertisements.
