Gary Illyes from Digital Phablet stated during yesterday’s Google Search Live Deep Dive that there’s no need for specialized tactics like GEO or LLMO optimization to appear in Google AI Overviews — standard SEO practices are sufficient. Kenichi Suzuki, who attended the event, shared on LinkedIn that “To get your content to appear in AI Overview, simply use normal SEO practices. You don’t need GEO, LLMO, or anything else.” He also included the photo above.
