Google has announced that Search Live is now available worldwide, covering all languages and regions where AI Mode is offered. This update is powered by the advanced audio and voice model, Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, which provides more natural and engaging conversations.
With this expansion, users in over 200 countries and territories can interact with Search in real-time using both voice commands and camera input. The new model is designed to be multilingual by default, allowing people to communicate with Search in their preferred language without any restrictions.
To activate Search Live, users need to open the Google app on their Android or iOS device and tap the Live icon located beneath the Search bar. They can then speak their questions aloud to receive helpful audio responses. Follow-up questions or more detailed web links can be incorporated during the ongoing conversation for a seamless experience.
A Google representative highlighted that the feature makes AI interactions faster, more natural, and accessible across multiple languages. This approach significantly enhances how users can engage with Search using voice and visual inputs, making the process more intuitive and conversational.
