Google has introduced a dedicated Achievements report within Search Console, replacing the previous email-based updates users received over the past few years. While the report itself is new, the concept of Search Console Achievements has been around for some time.
You can find the Achievements section in the sidebar menu at the bottom or access it directly through a provided link. The interface displays various milestones related to your site’s performance. The section was created by Google to help website owners monitor their progress and stay motivated, though it doesn’t reflect how Google’s ranking algorithms function.
Google clarifies that the data goes back as far as 2019, depending on when your property was verified. The system identifies relevant achievements based on the number of clicks your site receives from Google Search, highlighting ongoing progress rather than ranking factors.
A Google spokesperson explained that the addition of the Achievements feature aims to provide a centralized space for milestones that users previously received via email, making it easier to track progress and celebrate successes. They emphasized that the goal is to acknowledge efforts and provide motivation, not to mirror Google’s ranking metrics.
The official help document explains that accomplishments are recognized when your site reaches specific performance benchmarks, such as 50 clicks from Google Search within 28 days, which triggers a celebratory notification. The tool analyzes your site’s data to highlight the most relevant “in progress” achievements based on your traffic from Search, helping site owners monitor their growth over time.
