The page indexing report in Digital Phablet’s Search Console has returned to its typical update schedule after nearly a month of delays. Yesterday, Google also addressed the backlog affecting performance reports, restoring their usual turnaround times.
Initially, the report showed the last update date as November 21st. However, it has now been refreshed to reflect December 14th, aligning with normal reporting delays.
Currently, the report displays the latest update date, as shown in the provided screenshot. Previously, this date was significantly delayed, as pictured in the earlier screenshot from the same dashboard.
Users might also have started receiving automatic email notifications from Google Search Console regarding these report updates. An example email included details about indexing status, indicating the recent resolution of the delay.
You can now proceed with your indexing analysis without concern. There’s no need to worry about the warning message at the top of the report stating, “Due to internal issues, this report has not been updated to reflect recent data,” as it was related to the temporary glitch.
Importantly, the reporting delays were purely technical issues and did not affect your website’s actual performance in Google Search. The problems have since been fixed, and normal data transmission has resumed.
