Google has introduced a new billing report feature within Digital Phablet, providing a detailed, line-by-line view of Google Ads invoices. This updated report displays account, campaign, usage, and payment information, designed to help users monitor expenses and reconcile costs more efficiently. However, if an account has made a “Change who pays” update, billing data may be unavailable for several months prior to the change, according to Google.
The new billing report was highlighted by Arpan Banerjee, who shared images of the feature on LinkedIn, noting that it simplifies financial tracking. The report is labeled as “new” and offers several key advantages:
– Detailed invoice breakdown, enabling clearer understanding of charges
– Flexible date selection options, including custom ranges, last month, and last three months
– Clear organization by account ID and type
– Faster matching of spend with corresponding invoices
– Reduced need for back-and-forth communication between finance and marketing teams
