Google Ads has long supported integrating WhatsApp Messenger into your ad extensions. Recently, it appears the platform is expanding its messaging options to include additional apps, notably Facebook Messenger and Zalo, a popular multi-platform messaging service in Vietnam.
This development suggests that Google Ads may be supporting even more messaging platforms, though the recent spotting was made by Arpan Banerjee. He shared his findings on LinkedIn, mentioning, “Facebook (Meta) Messenger is now available as a direct communication option, and Zalo has also been added, increasing reach in key Asian markets.”
