Google Ads appears to be beginning the rollout of audience exclusions for Shopping campaigns. Previously, excluding specific audience types was not an option for Shopping campaigns, but some users are now seeing this feature available in their accounts.
Jyll Saskin Gales noticed this update and shared her experience on LinkedIn. She reported, “I’m excited because I was just able to add an audience exclusion to a Shopping campaign.”
Gales further explained:
Up until now, excluding audiences from Shopping campaigns in Google Ads wasn’t possible. I even had to emphasize that point multiple times in my book. Now that this feature has been introduced, it opens up a whole new range of audience targeting options for Shopping campaigns.

Some users in the comments indicate they haven’t yet gained access, suggesting this update may not be fully available for all accounts at this time.
