Google has recently introduced a beta feature allowing social media video campaigns to be integrated into ad campaigns. Now, Google is testing a new way to incorporate videos directly within the Merchant Center platform.
Rakshit Shetty shared a screenshot on LinkedIn revealing this update. He noted that after enabling social video imports, Google has unlocked another valuable source for ad content.
The new feature appears to automatically surface product-linked videos during the ad creation process, streamlining the setup for retail and e-commerce brands. This enhancement aims to improve the relevance of video ads to specific products, potentially boosting performance for Performance Max retail campaigns.
