Shiji Information Technology, a Chinese software company specializing in solutions for the hospitality and catering industries, announced it has signed a contract with a major resort operator in Macau to implement its next-generation hotel property management system.
The resort properties in Macau, including a world-renowned casino-hotel complex, will adopt the company’s Daylight Property Management System, following an agreement finalized on August 12.
Due to the high volume of tourists and numerous guest rooms in large integrated resorts, there are demanding requirements for the functionality, stability, and data security of the property management system. This partnership is expected to yield considerable long-term financial benefits and enhance the company’s reputation, although specific details were not disclosed.
Last year, the company secured a service contract with another prominent resort group. Additionally, in June, it became the preferred provider of property management solutions for a global hotel chain’s managed and franchised hotels in China through a software-as-a-service model.
The resort in Macau involved in this agreement is owned by a major gaming and hospitality company, which is part of a global enterprise.
Following the news, the company’s stock saw a 1.1% rise to CNY10.47 (about USD1.46), after climbing as much as 5.6% earlier in the morning trading session. Overall, the wider market in Shenzhen declined by 0.9%.
