The Global Data Ecosystem Conference commenced in Shanghai today, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in digital technology that are converting data-centric ideas into tangible business solutions.
During the two-day event, the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council, a government-level partnership, is demonstrating its advancements in digital identities and the mutual recognition of electronic certification documents.
Additionally, the event features a collaboration between the Shanghai Data Group and the National Data Development Research Institute, which has launched a white paper focused on establishing and managing trustworthy data infrastructure.
A blockchain-based letter of credit application, created by City Commercial Banks Clearing, Shanghai Data Group, and several commercial banks, is also on display. The event marks the debut of the Mineral Data Export Standards Innovation Union and the Shanghai Blockchain Innovation Fund.
Notable exhibitions include the winners of the national data application innovation competition, “Data Factors X,” displays by the National Data Group Alliance, and showcases of Shanghai’s achievements in the data economy. These initiatives aim to translate data innovations into practical business applications.
Since 2022, the conference has been held annually in Shanghai, attracting top digital technology experts, companies, and research institutions worldwide. It functions as a platform for dialogue and joint innovation within the digital ecosystem, fostering the growth of China’s data economy.
