Chinese digital entertainment company has launched its inaugural immersive indoor theme park in Yangzhou, a city in eastern Jiangsu Province adjacent to Nanjing. The new attraction, known as iQiyi Land, was inaugurated yesterday with notable guests including senior executives, cast members from the hit reality show “Become a Farmer,” and actors from popular television dramas.
Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality headsets, LED screens, and motion simulation systems, the company has transformed its film and TV IPs into an engaging, interactive experience. The park is divided into seven distinct zones: immersive theaters, interactive light-and-shadow installations, live stage performances, themed photo spots based on scenes from popular shows, real-time character interactions, social gaming areas, and exclusive retail and dining spaces. Visitors can explore iconic scenes, engage with actors, and uncover hidden storylines for a fully immersive adventure.
Plans are underway for a second iQiyi Land in Kaifeng, with a third location announced for Beijing. During the opening ceremony, high-level executives, cast members, and actors from well-known series celebrated the launch together.
Guests explored various immersive environments, including spaces surrounded by giant LED screens, recreated tense scenes from crime dramas, and enjoyed live performances from period dramas. Artists at the park also offered visitors the chance to have traditional Chinese symbols of prosperity painted on their hands. The park’s mascots, Kiki and Wiwi, greeted guests at the entrance, welcoming them into this new entertainment destination.
