Shares of Roshow Technology surged to the daily trading limit after the company announced a partnership to develop embodied artificial intelligence home service robots for international markets. The stock was trading approximately 10% higher at CNY10.81 (USD1.52) as of 2:15 p.m. in Shenzhen.
The company’s robotics subsidiary, Ningbo Junwu Intelligent Technology, entered into an agreement with a major Chinese humanoid robot manufacturer and a top Chinese cross-border e-commerce platform to collaborate on creating and marketing AI-powered household service robots. Financial specifics of the partnership were not disclosed.
Junwu Intelligent will utilize AI models and hardware components sourced from the robot manufacturer to develop the new products. These will then be exported to Europe and North America through the e-commerce platform.
The joint venture aims to sell at least one million of these AI home service robots within the next three years. Although the third partner’s name has not been revealed, it is described as a leading company in the industry, with a robust sales and after-sales network. The partner has extensive experience in the cleaning and small household appliances sectors, with a strong presence on international e-commerce channels such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify.
In the future, the company plans to set up a joint venture under Junwu Intelligent’s control to oversee the branded sale of these AI home robots.
