Shares of a leading diversified energy services company soared to the daily trading limit after securing a second order for generators from a prominent U.S.-based artificial intelligence firm.
The company closed up 10% at $12.06 per share on the Shenzhen stock exchange, marking nearly a 19% increase for the month. Its subsidiary, specializing in power solutions, will supply an unnamed client with $106 million worth of gas turbine generators over the course of 13 months, according to an announcement made earlier today.
This marks the client’s second generator order from the company in less than two months. Back in late November, the company revealed it had secured a contract valued at over $100 million from the North American data center of a global AI leader.
Neither disclosure revealed the client’s identity explicitly, citing confidentiality. However, the first contract referred to a global AI leader, while the latest confirmed that the purchaser is a U.S.-registered entity.
This agreement represents a significant milestone in expanding modular and intelligent power generation solutions within the North American data center sector. The equipment is engineered to adhere to strict standards necessary for data center operations, including high reliability, quick response times, operational flexibility, and stability.
The company noted that its gas turbine generators are suitable for both data centers and industrial power applications. Their standardized, modular design facilitates quick transportation, on-site assembly, and scalable capacity expansion to meet diverse operational demands.
This second deal further solidifies the ongoing partnership between the two firms. Building on a strong existing relationship, the collaboration supports the company’s efforts to strengthen its competitive edge in producing equipment for data centers and industrial power, while also boosting its global brand presence and market standing.
The company’s power segment primarily offers high-end equipment such as gas power generators, renewable energy storage solutions, and power transmission systems. It now provides comprehensive lifecycle services, encompassing research, development, manufacturing, and advanced intelligent power solutions.
