Nearly half of these roles came with annual salaries exceeding 200,000 CNY (approximately 28,525 USD).
Over a two-day period, more than 4,000 jobs in the event offered annual salaries ranging from 500,000 to 1,000,000 CNY (roughly 71,140 USD to 142,280 USD), while more than 600 positions paid over 1,000,000 CNY annually. The event drew in over 120,000 students from more than 1,700 universities, both domestic and international.
The participating companies included over 40 Fortune Global 500 firms, such as Huawei Technologies, Tencent Holdings, and BYD. Additionally, more than 300 publicly listed companies like TCL Technology and Ubtech Robotics took part, along with over 400 firms recognized for their specialization, innovation, and uniqueness, such as Deeproute.AI. The event also featured more than 250 central government and state-owned enterprises, including China General Nuclear Power and China Southern Power Grid, in addition to over 50 research institutes, 360 colleges, and several hospitals. The sectors represented ranged from advanced technology research and development to traditional manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and education.
The fair showcased nearly 9,000 positions suited for doctoral candidates, over 12,000 roles for individuals with master’s degrees, more than 35,000 openings for those with bachelor’s degrees, and upwards of 8,000 positions aimed at junior college students. It also provided more than 10,000 internship opportunities for students expected to graduate in 2027, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence algorithms and mechanical design.
A new Chain Master Enterprises zone was established, featuring eight leading chain companies, including BYD, Gree Electric Appliances, Tencent, and CSG. This zone also included over 80 upstream and downstream companies along their supply chains, offering integrated services to connect job seekers with supply chain positions. An APEC Talent Matching Service zone was also introduced, bringing together 34 foreign-invested companies from Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation member countries and Chinese firms interested in expanding internationally.
The event employed a hybrid approach, combining offline and online recruitment methods. The recruitment platform Boss Zhipin facilitated multiple company-led interviews and job offers, while 14 companies conducted live stream events to reveal more than 3,000 positions online. Additionally, four interview booths enabled real-time connections between students worldwide and 30 key companies. Over 7,800 firms participated online, providing nearly 200,000 job opportunities.
