On October 17, in Ningbo, ZhiYuan Robotics and JunPu Intelligence announced the launch and mass production of their latest G2 robot model. The event marked a significant milestone as the companies unveiled the robot to the world for the first time and completed the initial delivery of a purchase contract valued at over 100 million yuan with Quanshun Electronics.
The newly introduced ZhiYuan Elf G2 is equipped with self-developed joint actuators and an AI computing platform, enabling it to perform precise, millimeter-level force control tasks. This allows the robot to handle various manufacturing processes such as picking up and assembling automotive parts. Additionally, the robot supports local model deployment and custom task workflows, optimizing its operations through data-driven iterative improvements.
In line with the deployment plan, the first batch of these robots will be integrated into Quanshun Electronics’ automotive component assembly lines. The goal is to transition from traditional human-machine collaboration toward a robot-dominated production process. To support this shift, JunPu Intelligence announced plans to establish a dedicated manufacturing line capable of producing over 3,000 units annually, paving the way for large-scale industrial adoption.
This collaboration creates a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing research and development, capacity building, and practical application scenarios. Industry experts see it as a clear sign that embodied intelligence technology is now entering the commercial manufacturing landscape, promising increased automation and efficiency across automotive production lines.
