Tencent has announced the official launch of its new local AI assistant, QClaw, which is now entering its beta testing phase. Developed using the open-source OpenClaw AI framework, QClaw aims to enhance remote computing capabilities for users.
The AI assistant is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and can be easily installed with a single click. This integration allows users to leverage a wide array of functionalities—over 5,000 skills—ranging from file management and data calculations to information transfer, making it versatile for various office-related tasks.
One of the standout features of QClaw is its ability to be controlled remotely via WeChat. Users can simply send a message to the assistant through the popular messaging app to remotely operate their desktop computers, providing a seamless and hands-free way to manage tasks even when away from their computers.
