On August 21, in Shanghai, Zhiyuan Robotics held its first-ever partner conference, signaling a strong push toward commercialization in the robotics industry. Less than three years since its founding, the company’s leadership emphasized that 2025 will be a pivotal year for the widespread adoption of embodied intelligent robots. Company Chairman and CEO Deng Taihua stated that the sector is on the brink of a significant breakout, with robots poised to become the next wave of massive smart devices following mobile phones and automobiles. Recognizing this historic opportunity, Zhiyuan Robotics has strategically shifted focus from exploratory research to large-scale commercial deployment, centered around building a collaborative ecosystem.
To meet this ambitious goal, the company announced a series of major initiatives. CTO Peng Zhihui provided an in-depth overview of their comprehensive “1+3” technology strategy, which builds upon robotic hardware and advances in motion, interaction, and task execution. One notable innovation unveiled was the LinkCraft platform, designed to simplify robot behavior programming to a level where secondary development becomes effortless. This platform enables developers to craft robotic motions as freely as movie directors scripting scenes.
In addition, Zhiyuan Robotics revealed its new wheeled dual-arm robot prototype, the Lingxi X2-W, tailored specifically for precise task automation. This model features omni-directional mobility, high degrees of arm flexibility, and a compact design, showcasing promising applications in delicate operational environments.
On the business and ecosystem front, Zhiyuan Robotics emphasized openness and collaboration. The company announced plans to foster industry growth through open-sourcing key middleware like AimRT and its first embodied intelligence operating system, Lingqu OS. More excitingly, the firm revealed its launch of the Zhiyuan A Plan, an acceleration program aimed at incubating over 50 early-stage projects and creating a thriving industry ecosystem valued at over a trillion dollars within three years.
These efforts are complemented by solutions spanning multiple industries, from manufacturing to commerce, and new partnership policies designed to mobilize the entire value chain. Peng Zhihui outlined a clear quantitative target: over the next three years, the company aims to deploy 100,000 versatile robots at scale, creating an open, self-evolving ecosystem for general-purpose embodied intelligence.
This strategic push highlights Zhiyuan Robotics’ commitment to transforming its innovative concepts into tangible commercial products and shaping the future landscape of intelligent automation.
