On December 4th, the 2025 International Robot Exhibition (iREX) was held in Tokyo, Japan, under the theme “Achieving a Sustainable Society Through Robotics.” Nearly 700 companies from around the globe participated in this event, showcasing the latest innovations in robotics technology. Among the exhibitors was Chinese robotics firm Pasini, which displayed a comprehensive product lineup focused on embodied intelligence.
Pasini highlighted its third-generation multi-dimensional tactile sensor, the PX-6AX-GEN3. This advanced sensor can output 15 types of tactile information—such as six-dimensional force, torque, and material properties—at a rapid rate of 1000Hz. It boasts a force recognition accuracy of 0.01N and a repeatability of less than 0.5% full scale throughout its entire measurement range. In addition, the company officially unveiled a new six-axis force sensor based on Hall effect principles. This sensor, made from polymer materials, aims to address aging and creep issues common in previously used force sensors.
This event and the innovations showcased reflect how robotics companies like Pasini are pushing the boundaries of technology to create smarter, more adaptable machines that contribute to building a sustainable and efficient future.
