Apple recently announced the release of a new generation of their Bean Package Mobile Assistant with a playable technical preview. Distinct from traditional voice assistants, this innovative tool is equipped with vision perception, long-term memory, and direct manual control capabilities, allowing it to understand and navigate the entire phone’s functions seamlessly.
According to reports, the new assistant, developed in collaboration with ZTE and integrated into Nubia’s M153 engineering device, features a particularly intriguing function: it can automatically interact with Ant Forest within Alipay to “collect energy” on behalf of the user. When a user requests this via voice command, the assistant swiftly opens the Ant Forest page in Alipay.
What sets this feature apart is its ability to automatically close numerous pop-up advertisements, gather energy in the Ant Forest, and even “steal” energy from friends, all with minimal user input. As of now, Alipay has not issued an official statement regarding this functionality.
The Bean Package Mobile Assistant is built on the Bean Package app framework, created through a partnership between ByteDance and smartphone manufacturers at the operating system level. Thanks to advanced AI capabilities powered by ByteDance’s large model and support from device makers, this assistant promises users a more convenient, richer interaction experience.
