Several popular websites worldwide were affected by a global outage of Cloudflare - a DNS service.

Cloudflare released a statement on its Twitter account regarding the outage. "Cloudflare is aware of the current issue and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible," the company stated.

It is important to point out that Cloudflare is the most popular content delivery network by a significant margin.

"A critical P0 incident was declared at approximately 06:34AM UTC. Connectivity in Cloudflare’s network has been disrupted in broad regions,” Cloudflare said.

Cloudflare customers in impacted regions encountered 500 errors when trying to reach Cloudflare sites. “The incident impacted all data plane services in our network,” the company said, noting that a fix had been implemented; however, “we are monitoring the results.”

Customers of the company include large enterprises around the globe.
