iOS 16 release date is at the June WWDC 2022 conference among other launches regarding various Apple platforms.

The first one refers to the in-built pedometer, Gurman says “fairly significant enhancements across the board, including an update to notifications…”.

The second one is regarding Apple’s Health App where Gurman suggests that Apple Watches will get some health improvements too.

These changes are not expected to be as big or significant as the iOS 14 though.

Do expect Apple to debut the latest watchOS 9 platform that will serve as the backbone Apple Watch Series 8 debuts later.

Apple fans are speculating that new features for iOS 16 may include automatic crash detection, too.

Keep in mind that Apple’s minimum hardware requirement will be an iPhone 7 or later to get the update.
