Uber is working towards a feature that will allow you to book uber ride just by calling. Yes! You don’t need the app anymore!

Uber is rolling out a toll free number starting with 1-800 to receive the calls from the customers who are willing to book a ride through the call. It is being launched in one state in United States and will roll out to the other parts of the world as well.

How to Book Uber Ride through a call?

• Uber will assign a public number to all the Uber app users.
• A user will have to call on that toll free number which will be received by a human.
• Then you will tell that person the details about your location.
• The representative will text the customer about their designated driver, ETA and the license plate.
• The call will be Free of Cost.

While talking to the TechCrunch, Uber representative told that this feature is being introduced after keeping older people as well as those who are visually impaired people in mind and to target them.

After users asked Uber to introduce a feature so that everyone can use their app. Since, Uber believes in diversity and equality, they made sure that their app is accessible to everyone in the world.
