Firefighters Respond to Russian Missile Strike in Kharkiv, Ukraine
On March 7, 2025, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, two lives were lost, and 28 others, including three children, were injured due to a series of Russian missile strikes. The mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported the incident on Telegram, stating, "This night, the enemy launched 17 drone strikes across two districts of the city, leading to confirmed fatalities."
Several apartments in a five-story building located in the Slobidskyi district caught fire, while multiple houses in the Osnovyansky district were struck as well. Terekhov also indicated that it’s possible there are individuals trapped beneath the debris.
Despite calls from the United States to cease its three-year-long invasion, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine. Recent diplomatic talks in Turkey did not produce any significant progress, as Moscow dismissed proposals for an unconditional ceasefire.
