US-based Amazon.com affiliated game service Twitch announced on August 8th (local time) a PC broadcast app “Twitch Studio Beta“. You can apply for the beta version from the dedicated page.
Live on Twitch is relatively easy on consoles like PS4 e Xbox Uno, but for PC games, you need to use a third-party service such as OBS o xSplit separately. Twitch Studio explains that Twitch Studio is an “integrated distribution app that has all the functions necessary for new users to start distribution”.
There is also a setup function that supports settings such as a microphone and webcam, and an activity feed, alert and chat function for interacting with the community during distribution.
Twitch is a pioneering service in the game, but in recent years competitors such as Microsoft’s Mixer and Google’s YouTube Gaming have entered the market.
